Amazon Reseach Tool
Our AMALYZE Amazon research tool currently monitors more than 5 million products on Amazon.de. Approximately 15,000 new products are automatically added for monitoring by the AMALYZE algorithm every day. Factors like current BSR, category affiliation, parent-child relation, number of reviews, and the position of the product for given keywords are factored in. Using these criteria, the algorithm decides which products are automatically added for monitoring and when. In addition, as the user of AMALYZE you have the ability to add new products yourself to the database at any time.
This database, and more importantly its continuous growth, is the foundation for all evaluations and queries in the AMALYZE research module.
Detailed product information
Extensive, detailed information about each product monitored by AMALYZE is accessible at any time. This includes not only basic information like title, current selling price, non-binding price recommendation, number of reviews and average rating, category affiliation, dimensions and weight, but also product images, description, and features (bullet points).
In addition, historical price changes (since the start of monitoring) and Best Sellers Rank (BSR) are available for each product in the database.
Product history
In the product view you’ll find not only extensive, detailed information for the product monitored by AMALYZE, but also you’ll have the ability to view the product’s history. Under the heading “history” the following changes are captured in the listing:
Title, availability, category, features/ bullet points, description, size, weight, shipping dimensions, shipping weight, images, price change (percent and absolute), new sellers on the listing, change in SEO value/optimization, and change in the Buy Box.
Inventory, sales figures, and revenue
In addition to product details, the seller’s current inventory is tracked for each monitored product, so that sales and revenue numbers, among other data, can be compiled from this information. In this way it can be seen how often a product has sold in the past, and this data is adjusted depending on the query rate, so that as many sales as possible are recorded directly after their conclusion. For products which sell frequently, several queries are performed within a very short period of time.
From this data it can be deduced or predicted when a dealer has replenished their inventory or when it has sold out.
Seller information in the detailed view
The detailed view of a monitored product also generates an overview of all dealers offering that product.
You can see the price for which each dealer is offering a product, whether they are the current Buy Box holder, their past sales and revenue numbers, their average rating, and their current inventory for the product.
Notifications
You can set up and configure notifications of all listing changes, which are also captured for the history of a product monitored by AMALYZE; this includes new reviews as well.
With our notifications you can be notified of every change to a product in AMALYZE without having to actually call up the product. More information
Amazon Keyword Analysis
Currently (as of July 2017 – info in version 1.1.0) AMALYZE monitors more than 32 million keywords, continuously capturing which product is shown for which keywords in which position within the Amazon search results.
With this data, you can get an idea of the keywords for which a given product ranks, and how the respective position changes. Also, keywords are recorded for which the product ranks for the first time (newcomers) or no longer ranks (lost keywords), including the time of the respective change. Other features include historical ranking, Keyword Tracking Widget, Keyword Cloud, Keyword Export, exporting keywords for Seller Central, and filtering in the keyword table.
Amazon Keywords
By means of a sophisticated algorithm, competing products are identified so that within AMALYZE’s product detail view you can see its degree of keyword overlap, which keywords are missing from competitors’ products, and most importantly, for which competitor keywords the given product does not rank.
With this information, by recognizing relevant but missing keywords in a given product listing, you can discover hidden potential and in most cases increase your sales.
Amazon Keyword Tracking
With the keyword tracking of the AMALYZE research tool, you can easily monitor, monitor and analyze the position history of various keywords in your products (ASINs) or those of your competitors.
In our keyword widget, you always have an overview of the position and current development of your monitored keywords.
Amazon SEO
Amazon offers dealers comprehensive Style Guides for different product categories. These describe in detail how a product listing should look. These include specific instructions for building the title, product description and features, quantity, quality, and product images, as well as accurate categorization and creating different versions.
AMALYZE analyzes each monitored product according to the Style Guide, evaluates it, lists any deviations, and gives specific recommendations for adhering to Amazon’s style guides. Adhering as precisely as possible to the Amazon style guide contributes positively to the user experience and thus directly and indirectly to the conversion rate and the product’s positioning within the search results. On the other hand, on the basis of poor adherence to the style guides, products can be identified which show great potential for optimization.
AMALYZE Review Analysis
In addition to the product details, the reviews of each product are queried and summarized. AMALYZE analyzes all (including historical) reviews and ratings from customers.
In the review overview you have the ability to evaluate the historical progress of ratings, i.e. at any time you can gain insight as to when and why the average rating is declining or improving, and above all, who these ratings are coming from.
Detection of Product Tests
In addition, product tests (compliant with guidelines) are identified and shown chronologically. This enables you to evaluate which comments are considered particularly helpful and contain images or videos.
And so, you can identify at a glance, both for your own products and those of competitors, how satisfied customers are with a given product, as well as any need or potential for quality improvement.
Amazon Sponsored Product Ads
Evaluation of the Amazon Sponsored Product Ads within the search results. This can be e.g. Evaluate whether all “booked” keywords, in fact, advertising on Amazon is played, on which key words the competitors advertise or what are keywords with high or low advertising competition.
Display the number of sponsored product ads within the top 100 search results for each keyword.
Amazon Seller Research and Analysis
The products monitored by AMALYZE are currently (as of May 2017) offered by more than 130,000 different dealers. This dealer data, which has been gained through continuous monitoring, can be analyzed according to diverse criteria such as business name, contact person, postal code, city, and country. In addition, this can be limited to dealers whose ratings lie within a selected range. Listed and monitored product data is available for all these dealers so that the total turnover achieved (with regard to the dealer’s monitored products) can be assessed. And so for any given competitor, products which they have newly added to their product range can be identified and their potential evaluated.
Amazon Niche Analysis
For each monitored search term, AMALYZE offers niche analysis, with comprehensive, graphical evaluations.
These include the number and share of dealers and manufacturers, distribution between “Fulfillment by Amazon” (FBA) and “Fulfillment by Merchant” (FBM), the share of the relevant categories, average ratings, the relationship between a product’s average rating and its ranking position within the niche, the average number of reviews and the influence of this on the product’s keyword position, and an overview of both the price range of the products and to what extent the price influences the product’s position within the Amazon search results.
Amazon Niche Analysis – Price, SEO, BSR
The optimization ratio (conformity to the Amazon Style Guides) is also measured and reported, along with a measure of the influence that the degree of optimization has on the keyword position.
In addition, for each niche it can be determined how much the degree of optimization or the AMASCORE correlate to Best Sellers Rank (BSR). Likewise it is assessed whether there is actually a connection between BSR and keyword ranking position within the respective niche, i.e. whether the highest-selling products within a niche are also shown in the top keyword positions.
Analysis of Amazon Categories
The associated categories are captured for each monitored product. Currently (as of May 2017) more than 20,000 categories are monitored on Amazon.de. Derived from this are data sets pertaining to the category, its main category, or its sub-categories. This data includes the number of products, retailers, and manufacturers within a given category, the average price, the price range of the monitored products in the category, as well as the associated sales, revenue, and average selling price. Within the category analysis, at a glance you can identify promising categories which show above-average sales with relatively little competition and/or product density. This gives Amazon dealers who offer Private Label products the chance to identify new, potentially profitable categories in which to offer those items.
